Sebastian 23 brings the Meeting Point to Heilbronn
If a friendly "Good day" is already considered a remote utopia, there is an urgent need for someone to break down the societal ongoing outrage with wordplay, timing, and a healthy dose of optimism. On December 5, 2026, Sebastian 23 will present his tenth solo program "Meeting Point" at the Free Cultural Center Maschinenfabrik Heilbronn.
Stand-up between satire and humanity
Sebastian 23 combines stand-up, cabaret, poetry slam, and political satire into a lively laughter experience. His punchlines emerge where others have long left the comment section: in differing opinions, digital outbursts, and the question of whether a conversation with strangers is actually more dangerous than a dispute online.
The program is based on sharp observation, linguistic precision, and a stage presence that oscillates between reflective cabaret and rapid word acrobatics. The comedy atmosphere never remains one-dimensional: a biting punchline is followed by a thought-provoking twist, and a political jab is succeeded by a surprisingly human moment.
A cabaret program with attitude
"Meeting Point" sees itself as a plea for optimism, empathy, and the courage to seek new paths together. This may initially sound like grand pathos. However, Sebastian 23 knows exactly how to break pathos ironically until something emerges that truly resonates with the audience.
The Bochum author, activist, musician, and comedian has been shaping the German-language poetry slam and cabaret scene for many years. He has published numerous books, including the Spiegel bestseller "Falling is like leaning, only later," and reaches hundreds of thousands of people under the name mondschaf23 with daily satirical contributions on social media.
Experience award-winning word art live
For his work, Sebastian 23 received the special award of the German Cabaret Prize 2024. Experts recognized him as a pioneer of the poetry slam scene and a sharp-witted thinker. 3sat described him as a word player who scores with language like a Finn in Scrabble. In Heilbronn, this award-winning word art meets the immediate audience reaction of a live evening: laughter, surprised silence, quick interaction, and punchlines that only unfold their full effect on stage.
Comedy evening in the Maschinenfabrik
The Maschinenfabrik opens on December 5, 2026, at 7:30 PM, and the show starts at 8:00 PM. The Free Cultural Center on Olgastraße provides the perfect setting for an evening where societal debates do not fizzle out in the comment section but meet with stage light, microphone, and good timing.
Conclusion: Visitors can expect a clever, political, and entertaining cabaret program with stand-up energy, poetry slam rhythm, and a great sense of absurd everyday situations. Those who prefer to laugh together rather than attack each other with their keyboards online will best experience Sebastian 23 live in Heilbronn.
