Jazz Christmas Sounds in the Abraham-Gumbel Hall
When swinging big band energy meets festive Advent melodies and humorous stories, a benefit concert with a special character takes place on November 29, 2026, in Heilbronn. The Heilbronn Citizen Foundation invites you to an atmospheric concert evening in the Abraham-Gumbel Hall together with the Bosch Big Band and Nicolai Köppel.
Between Swing, Soul, and Christmas Magic
The Bosch Big Band combines classics of the swing era with earthy soul and funk grooves as well as cool Latin rhythms. The versatile repertoire creates a colorful sound, where precise brass arrangements, driving rhythm groups, and solo accents intertwine. Under the musical direction of Matthias Anton, the ensemble unfolds a powerful stage performance with fine orchestral synchronization.
A Musical Introduction to the Advent Season
Christmas melodies acquire new contours in the big band setting: sometimes bouncy and elegant, sometimes grooving and surprising. The live atmosphere in the Abraham-Gumbel Hall connects the warm sound of the instruments with the festive mood of the audience. Thus, a concert experience is created that appeals to jazz fans as well as visitors who want to musically tune in to Christmas.
Nicolai Köppel Adds Humorous Interludes
Nicolai Köppel takes care of the narrative side of the evening. With his own texts, stories, and a lot of charm, he sets humorous accents between the musical highlights. His contributions give the benefit concert a personal touch and connect music, wit, and pre-Christmas warmth.
Music with a Social Impact
The concert is dedicated to a good cause. The Heilbronn Citizen Foundation is hosting the evening in support of reading promotion projects of the Friends of the Heilbronn City Library. This connects the Advent concert musical enjoyment with social engagement.
Conclusion: An Advent Evening with Groove and Feeling
Visitors can expect a festive mix of jazz, swing, soul, funk, Christmas sounds, and humorous stories. Anyone who wants to experience the Bosch Big Band live and start the Advent season with special musical energy should mark this benefit concert in Heilbronn.
