Baroque Brilliance: Festive Sounds for Advent in Güglingen

On Saturday, December 19, 2026, the historical Herzogskelter in Güglingen will transform into a festive concert hall. The Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn, together with the renowned trumpeter Gábor Boldoczki, presents a baroque program full of sonic finesse, virtuosic highlights, and pre-Christmas atmosphere.

Baroque Sound Splendor with the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra

At the heart of the evening are masterpieces from the 17th and 18th centuries. The Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn showcases its characteristic precision in orchestration, its transparent sound balance, and the lively synchronization between soloists and ensemble. The music combines festive brilliance with intimate, almost chamber music-like moments.

Gábor Boldoczki Sets Radiant Accents

The internationally renowned trumpeter Gábor Boldoczki shapes the evening with technical brilliance and expressive stage performance. The program includes Arcangelo Corelli's famous Christmas Concerto, Giuseppe Torelli's Trumpet Concerto in D major, as well as works by Antonio Vivaldi and Alessandro Marcello. The radiant trumpet meets warm string colors, making the baroque music language immediate and festive.

Virtuosity Between Elegance and Dramatic Expression

Corelli's Concerto Grosso in g minor, Op. 6 No. 8 opens the evening with pastoral warmth and rhythmic elegance. Torelli's Trumpet Concerto demands soloistic agility and clear articulation, while the arrangement of Marcello's Oboe Concerto in c minor, with its poignant Adagio, acquires a particularly emotional timbre. Vivaldi's Concerto in D major and other baroque works guide through a program where contrasting dynamics, dance-like movement, and musical leadership interweave closely.

Advent Atmosphere in Historic Ambiance

The Herzogskelter combines historic building substance with a modern event ambiance and offers a special acoustic and atmospheric backdrop for the concert. When the first notes resonate through the hall, festive lighting, concentrated audience silence, and the vibrant sound language of the baroque come together. The concert evening is suitable as a cultural highlight of the Advent season and as a special gift idea for shared time.

Conclusion: An Evening of Musical Highlights

Visitors can expect a stylish Advent evening with the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn, Gábor Boldoczki, and a program that blends Christmas concert, virtuosic trumpet literature, and baroque sound splendor.
