A musical journey through four centuries
On November 7, 2026, the clarity of classical chamber music meets the special live atmosphere of a historic church space in the Kilianskirche Heilbronn. The Duo Creuz, featuring Lewin Creuz on violin and Pauline Creuz on piano, will present an evening concert with masterpieces from Johann Sebastian Bach to Camille Saint-Saëns.
Virtuoso violin and resonant piano
The program combines baroque precision, classical elegance, and romantic expressiveness. Works by Bach, Mozart, Gluck arranged by Kreisler, Schubert, and Saint-Saëns will take the audience through different sound worlds – from finely crafted lines to virtuosic passages with great emotional tension.
The Duo Creuz on renowned stages
Lewin and Pauline Creuz have been performing as a classical sibling duo for many years both nationally and internationally. Their significant concert activities include performances at the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Munich Residence, and the New Palace Stuttgart. Both are studying at renowned music academies in Munich and Salzburg. They achieved a first federal prize at Jugend musiziert in 2014.
Church space as a resonating body
The Kilianskirche adds a special depth to the concert with its acoustics. The warm reverberation allows the melodic arcs of the violin to resonate freely, while the piano sets rhythmic contours and harmonic colors. In the synchronization of both instruments, the intimate tension arises that makes great chamber music immediately experienceable live.
Free admission to the hour of church music
The concert series Hour of Church Music stands for high-quality music in the Kilianskirche and invites the audience to a concentrated, atmospheric concert experience. Admission to this concert is free.
Conclusion
The Duo Creuz promises an evening full of musical contrasts: Bach, Mozart, Schubert, and Saint-Saëns meet in a finely balanced stage performance between virtuosity and intimacy. Anyone wishing to experience classical music in special acoustics and with palpable audience ambiance should enjoy this concert evening in Heilbronn live.
