Young Talents, Big Stage: Youth Makes Music in Heilbronn
On Saturday, January 30, 2027, the Music School Heilbronn opens its doors for the Regional Competition Youth Makes Music. The public assessment performances provide insights into the focused work of young musicians from Heilbronn and the region.
Experience Musical Excitement Up Close
As the first notes resound, careful preparation, musical curiosity, and the unique live atmosphere of a competition day come together. The audience experiences interpretations with personal touches and feels how daily practice transforms into a convincing stage performance.
Diversity in Solo and Ensemble Assessments
Youth Makes Music is one of the most important competitions in musical youth education in Germany. Depending on the announcement, participants present solo contributions and chamber music formations. Precise synchronization, tonal design, musical communication, and expressive interplay are at the core of the assessment.
Open to All Interested Parties
The assessment performances are public and cater to families, music enthusiasts, educators, and anyone wanting to experience young music live. The exact performance times and assessment locations will be published on the official regional competition website. This allows for targeted visits based on instrument, category, or time of day.
No Admission Fee and Support for Musical Talent
Admission to the assessment performances is free. The regional competition of the Heilbronn region is supported by the city of Heilbronn, the Heilbronn district, and the cultural foundation of the district savings bank Heilbronn. This provides musical talent with a professional platform and gives the audience immediate access to engaged youth culture.
A visit promises concentrated sounds, emotional stage moments, and an authentic glimpse into the next generation of musical talents. Those wanting to experience the special audience atmosphere of a competition day should mark the date at the Music School Heilbronn.
