Experience Simon & Garfunkel anew: Duo Graceland brings great folk rock moments to Heilbronn
On Friday, November 19, 2027, Duo Graceland transforms the Wilhelm Maybach Hall of the Harmonie Heilbronn into a stage for timeless folk rock classics. At Simon & Garfunkel Tribute meets Classic, the voices and guitars of Thomas Wacker and Thorsten Gary meet a string quartet and a accompanying band.
Poetic songs with a new sound
The Sound of Silence, Cecilia, The Boxer and Bridge Over Troubled Water are among the defining compositions of Simon & Garfunkel. Duo Graceland approaches these songs with respect for the originals while simultaneously developing a unique concert evening. The familiar melodies gain a new depth through classical strings, while drums and bass add additional dynamics to the arrangements.
Between acoustic guitar and orchestrated warmth
At the center are two voices, two guitars, and the fine synchronization with the string ensemble. The orchestration combines folksy directness with chamber musical richness. Gentle passages achieve transparency, while large refrains unfold with warmer sound and a stage performance that preserves the emotional core of the songs.
A musical journey through the 60s and 70s
The program leads through the emotional side of American folk rock while also setting rocky accents. Concertgoers can expect a tribute to an era in which multi-part vocals, acoustic guitars, and poetic songwriting shaped a wide audience. Duo Graceland connects this musical history with a modern live experience.
Live atmosphere with goosebump moments
When the first guitar chords sound and the string quartet captures the harmonies, a special audience mood develops: intimate, festive, and simultaneously powerful. The well-known songs invite focused listening as well as swaying along. Thus, a concert experience arises that combines nostalgia with musical precision.
Conclusion: Great songs, intimate moments, full concert sound
Simon & Garfunkel Tribute meets Classic promises an evening in Heilbronn that bridges folk rock, chamber music, and emotional stage performance. Anyone wanting to experience the classics of Simon & Garfunkel in a new, expressive formation should not miss this concert live at the Harmonie.
