"We Live Forever" An Evening Full of Klezmer with Dreierlei

For over 20 years, they have been traveling together with music, texts, and songs from Jewish artists. Throughout these years, different programs have been created, from which they will present selected highlights this evening at the vhs Heilbronn. Klezmer will be played, which is often lively, sometimes melancholic folk music of Ashkenazi Jews. The tradition of this music dates back centuries but has constantly renewed itself. The trio Dreierlei builds on this tradition, delivering an exciting and (dark) humorous repertoire through musical dialogues. Group Dreierlei consists of Irene Zantow-Bareiß (violin and viola), Elke Knötzele (accordion), and Kerstin Müller (speaking, singing). A cooperation of the Volkshochschule Heilbronn with the Freundeskreis Synagoge Heilbronn, the Evangelical Adult Education Heilbronn-Brackenheim, and the Catholic Adult Education City and District Heilbronn.
