Discovering Prehistory with Puzzles: The School Program on Giants in Heilbronn

This family-oriented educational offer in the experimenta Heilbronn combines wonder, fun learning, and active discovery: School classes from grade 6 delve into the giants of the past, solve puzzles, compare sizes, and find out together how researchers reconstruct extinct animals.

Searching for Clues with Aha Moments

The children and teenagers explore the exhibition in small groups and work diligently like small research teams. They consider which animal is as heavy as 17 small cars and who measures as long as ten bicycles in a row. This makes natural history accessible, visual, and playful for kids.

Participate, Combine, Retain

After the interactive tour, a foldable game is created to take home. Those who wish can test their memory with the Giant Memo. This strengthens concentration, memory retention, and team spirit, turning the exhibition visit into a sustainable family experience for school classes.

Educationally Valuable and Safely Guided

Trained visitor supervisors guide the groups through the program. This keeps the process clear, age-appropriate, and safe. The teenagers experience science not dryly, but actively, understandably, and with many small successes.

A Place for Curiosity and Exploratory Joy

The experimenta in Heilbronn is considered an extracurricular learning location and offers an environment where children and teenagers can ask questions, experiment, and think together. For schools, this is a strong setting to convey scientific topics lively.

Conclusion: Those who come with the class to the exhibition Giants experience an exciting mix of puzzles, participation, and research. The program fosters curiosity, exchange, and knowledge in a child-friendly way. Discover prehistory now and experience the trip to Heilbronn live!
