Pettersson and Findus bring children's eyes to shine
When the quirky Pettersson meets his lively cat Findus, children's laughter, amazement, and a lot of charming chaos are guaranteed. The KiWi Children's Theater presents a heartwarming theater experience in Heilbronn based on the beloved children's books by Swedish author Sven Nordqvist.
A special friendship on the farm
Pettersson lives a reclusive life on a small farm in the midst of Swedish nature. His chickens and the rooster bring movement to everyday life, but he lacks a bit of company. When neighbor Beda Andersson gifts him the cat Findus, an extraordinary friendship begins. Soon, Findus speaks, celebrates his birthday multiple times a year, and brings fresh excitement to Pettersson's life with his antics.
Excitement, humor, and imaginative adventures
Findus is curious, impatient, and always good for a surprise. The children witness how he teases the chickens, confronts a bull, and together with Pettersson looks for solutions. The question of how to drive away a fox with fireworks also provides exciting moments and much situational comedy.
Child-friendly family experience with learning fun
The story combines imaginative entertainment with important experiences from family life. Children discover how friendship grows, how different people and animals can be, and how shared ideas help to master difficult situations. The lovingly told plot addresses child development, promotes empathy, and invites an age-appropriate learning experience about solidarity, courage, and mutual consideration.
Shared time in the Harmonie Heilbronn
In the Wilhelm-Maybach-Hall of the Harmonie Heilbronn, families can expect a theater visit in a protected indoor atmosphere. The stage opens a window into Pettersson's Swedish farm world: with animal encounters, surprising ideas, and a friendship that touches the heart. Thus, the afternoon becomes a valuable shared time for children and adults.
Conclusion: A theater adventure full of heart
Pettersson and Findus show that true friendship can grow between two very different characters. Families experience a humorous, exciting, and child-friendly performance filled with imagination and feeling. Those who want to inspire children for theater and enjoy a special family afternoon should experience this adventure live in Heilbronn.
