Rapunzel in Heilbronn: An evening of fairy tale magic, play, and participation

With Rapunzel, theatro anett brings a familiar Grimm fairy tale to life in a vibrant puppet theater adaptation that appeals to children from the age of three and takes the audience through two parts: first the approximately 30-minute fairy tale narrative, then the participatory theater with Wwisch the apprentice sorcerer. The Heilbronn event framework designates the date as a family offering, with prices at 7 euros for children and 8 euros for adults. A fairy tale unfolds anew

Rapunzel here is not just a mere picture book motif but becomes a small stage experience with clear dramaturgy in puppet theater form. The well-known story of the captive girl, the witch's curse, and the hope for liberation unfolds in a way that is immediately accessible to young viewers. Theatro anett focuses on closeness, address, and imaginative transformation, fully in the spirit of a children-friendly theater evening. Two parts, an evening full of movement

The division of the event is particularly enticing. First, the ensemble leads through the Grimm fairy tale, then the stage opens up for participatory theater. This is where a unique theatrical atmosphere emerges, allowing children not just to observe but to participate. The performance promises not only fairy tale magic but also immediate audience reactions: amazement, laughter, shouting, and cheering. The venue Zigarre as a cultural resonance space

The Zigarre Art and Culture Workshop, with its high ceilings, large windows, and event spaces, fits ideally for such a fairy tale production. The city of Heilbronn describes the location as a house for visual and performing arts, concerts, and puppet theater. For families, this creates a framework that doesn't sound like a stark multipurpose hall but rather like culture with character and history. Access is also practically organized: there are free parking options around the house, including in the courtyard, the teacher's parking lot across the street, and on the parking strip on Weststraße. For families seeking theater as an experience

This performance offers an easy introduction to the world of stage for children from three years. The fairy tale narrative remains manageable, the images are clear, and the participatory element opens the door to a shared experience between stage and audience. Those looking in Heilbronn for a cultural outing that is child-friendly, lively, and classically told will find a suitable choice here.
