Möckmühler Lichterglanz: Christmas Atmosphere in the Historic Old Town
On Saturday, December 12, 2026, the Möckmühler Lichterglanz transforms the historic old town around the Town Hall into a festive Christmas market. Starting at 3:00 PM, about 40 lovingly decorated stalls invite visitors to stroll, explore, and enjoy.
Craftsmanship, Christmas Items, and Regional Variety
Between the market stalls, the diversity of Christmas craftsmanship is displayed. Visitors will discover artistic gift ideas, Christmas and winter items, as well as special unique pieces for the festive days. Ceramics, glass art, wooden figures, and culinary treats are part of the characteristic offerings of the market.
Lights and Market Atmosphere
When the historic old town shines in bright lights, a warm market atmosphere is created with the scents of Christmas, festively decorated wooden huts, and a regional shopping experience. Pastries, mulled wine, and other winter specialties accompany the tour through Möckmühl's city center.
Stage Program and Activities for Children
A diverse program runs continuously on the stage. Families will also find special children's activities that make the Christmas market visit a special experience for young market-goers. Thus, Möckmühler Lichterglanz combines craftsmanship, culture, and a shared pre-Christmas experience.
