Dynamic Letters, Creative Ideas: Calligraphy Workshop in Heilbronn
In the calligraphy workshop The Flourishing Alphabet by Sherrie Kiesel, participants will discover a modern, vibrant script full of movement and expression. On November 28, 2026, the Heinrich-Fries-Haus in Heilbronn invites you to develop individual letters and decorative calligraphic artworks from simple basic shapes.
An Alphabet with Movement and Character
The Flourishing Alphabet is based on just five basic shapes and is designed exclusively with capital letters. The flowing lines give initials and individual words a special dynamism. Large interior areas provide additional space for embellishments, colors, and personal design ideas.
From Basic Shapes to the Complete Alphabet
The focus of the event is on the step-by-step development of the entire alphabet. Participants will get to know the five basic shapes, practice their combination, and discover how individual calligraphic compositions arise from clear lines. The event is aimed at both creative beginners and individuals who wish to expand their knowledge of modern calligraphy.
Creative Projects for Everyday Life
The dynamic letters are particularly suitable for self-designed gift bags, envelopes, greeting cards, and name tags. Individual initials or highlighted words can also be effectively combined with other scripts. This results in a versatile event experience with direct reference to personal DIY projects, stationery, and individual design.
Materials and Course Preparation
A materials list will be provided in advance of the course commencement. This allows participants to prepare specifically for the calligraphy course and bring the necessary utensils for practical work. The event management combines professional guidance with ample space for creative experimentation and personal ideas.
Conclusion: Experience Creative Calligraphy Live
The calligraphy workshop promises focused creative time, dynamic forms, and many inspirations for individual paper projects. Those looking to explore modern calligraphy and develop their own alphabet will find a suitable setting for this special event experience at the Heinrich-Fries-Haus. Mark the date now and discover the joy of handwritten letters live.
