Silke Aichhorn brings together harp and humor with “Bethlehem Rally”
As the Advent season loses its quiet facade, Silke Aichhorn's cabaret journey through the daily life of a harpist begins. In “Bethlehem Rally” at Kulturkeller Heilbronn, she combines sharp readings, dry humor, and virtuosic harp playing into an unusual stage experience.
Between musical service and heavenly task
Silke Aichhorn tells of the absurd sides of musical services and of a world where the woman with the heavenly instrument rushes from silence to silence. True events, self-ironic observations, and precisely set punchlines form the dramatic basis of this evening.
Virtuoso harp meets cabaret reading
The staging thrives on contrast: the linguistic sharpness of the reading is met by the warm, colorful sound of the harp. Between atmospheric melodies and surprising musical moments, a theatrical atmosphere arises where concert, literature, and small art intertwine.
Aichhorn is considered one of the most active harp soloists worldwide. Her artistic work includes 34 CD recordings and two books about quirky experiences from her professional life. Her entertaining chatter complements her musical precision with a very personal stage presence.
An evening with dry humor and great sound art
The Kulturkeller theater provides the perfect setting for this special form of stage art. The small stage and the intimate audience space create immediate closeness between the artist and the audience. Every punchline hits directly, and every harp sound unfolds its effect without distance.
The audience's reaction to Aichhorn's moderated concerts shows: this is not an ordinary song evening, but a lively dialogue of acting art, music, and storytelling. Deutschlandfunk Kultur honored her in 2025 as a particularly prominent, powerful, and entertaining representative of her field.
Conclusion: Experience Advent differently
“Bethlehem Rally” promises an evening full of virtuosic harp music, sharp observation, and hearty laughter. Those who want to experience music theater, readings, and cabaret in an unusual combination will find a stage experience with a personal touch at Kulturkeller Heilbronn.
